I'm Kathleen, and I make a lot of owls.

I learned to crochet (taught [and later re-taught] by my very patient mother) as a kid, and then relearned in 2008. In 2010, when I got more serious about it, the first owls were born. They were smaller than the current owls, and a lot less refined looking. And beads. They also had beads.

As I keep making these guys every Craft Fair Season, they keep evolving---new techniques (I'm re-exploring the beads), different yarn and colour combinations---and each one has its own face and personality that surprise me as it comes together.

I hope you like them as much as I do! I'd love to make you a custom one. Feel free to contact me through Zibbet, or by email at owlregistry@gmail.com

Little Shop of Owls

Welcome to the Owlery, a little online home for tiny crocheted birds of prey. If you have any questions, feel free to send an email directly owlregistry@gmail.com.

If you're here because you purchased one of the owls at a craft fair (or were given one as a gift), please do say hello and let me know how your owl is doing! Photos are encouraged!
